James Lehr Kennedy
James Lehr Kennedy, founder and CEO of Crystal Remembrance LLC and creator of the Crystal Remembrance designs. A hobbyist glass worker for more than 30 years, Mr. Kennedy developed his skills studying in the Ohio State University class program. He is a founder of Glass Axis, a nonprofit public access glass studio in Columbus, Ohio. He was formerly founder and CEO of a multinational telecommunications company, Twenty First Century Communications. He has both MA and MBA from the Ohio State University.
Ellen M. Brown
Executive Assistant to the CEO of Crystal Remembrance LLC & Next Future LLC. Background includes expertise in communications, market research, and business administration. Recent professional experience includes being the Executive Assistant to the CEO of Twenty First Century Communications. If you have any questions, Ellen is your ‘go to expert’.
Julia L. McDevitt
Chief Operating Officer of Crystal Remembrance. Background includes a B.A. from The Ohio State University, an M.B.A from Franklin University, and a PMP certification from the Project Management Institute. Recent professional background includes COO of Next Future LLC, former Director of Client Services at Twenty First Century Communications (Building and maintaining client partnerships in the US and abroad). Julia will be sure to establish a great relationship with our funeral home partners!
Michael Hric – Studio Manager
We are honored to have Michael Hric create many of our Funeral Home memorials. Mike is an award winning artist and graduate of the Cleveland Institute of Art. Michael presents many of his own glass designs at art galleries in central Ohio.
With just 1/2 tsp of cremated remains, and a touch of color, he is able to create a masterpiece that reflects a loved one for families that can be passed down for generations.
Trevor Fruchey is a B.F.A. graduate of the Columbus College of Art and Design where he specialized in glass casting and blowing. He continued his studies at the Rochester Institute of Technology receiving his M.F.A., in Glass. Experienced independent artist and a studio tech, Trevor’s skillsets are as diverse as his Art. Trevor’s works explore various forms and techniques, from seasonal objects to glass renditions of childhood toys, from vases and bowls to free form objects d’art.
In addition to the many roles Trevor fills for Crystal Remembrance, he also teaches glass casting at Columbus College for Art and Design.
